Alamo Tech Mobile Remote Support

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to help users download, install, and connect to Alamo Tech LLC’s remote support service using the SimpleHelp Remote Support app. By following these steps, users can quickly enable screen sharing and receive technical assistance.

You will begin by downloading the SimpleHelp app from the App Store or Google Play. After launching the app, you will enter the server address, confirm the connection to Alamo Tech LLC, and choose your preferred sharing option (screen sharing or photo sharing). This process ensures a smooth connection for real-time troubleshooting and support from Alamo Tech’s technicians. The included screenshots help you visualize key steps like entering the server address and enabling screen sharing.

Step 1: Download SimpleHelp Remote Support

Download and Install the app on your device.

Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Search for “SimpleHelp Remote Support.”

Step 2: Launch the SimpleHelp App

Open the SimpleHelp Remote Support app once the installation is complete.

Step 3: Enter the Server Address

Type in: https://help.alamotechllc.com:443 and tap “Start Support Session” (refer to the above screenshot).

You will be prompted to enter the address of the support service.

Step 4: Confirm the Connection

Tap “Connect” to proceed.

The app will display a confirmation screen asking you to connect to Alamo Tech LLC.

Ensure you see the correct address and logo (as shown in the third screenshot).

Step 5: Sharing Options

Share a Photo (refer to the above screenshot).

Once connected, you will see a screen indicating that you are waiting for a technician.

At the bottom, you will have sharing options to:

Enable Screen Sharing.

Step 6: Enable Screen Sharing

If prompted, select Enable Screen Sharing to allow the technician to view your screen and assist remotely.

  • The app will show a “Waiting for a technician to join” message. Stay on this screen until the technician connects to help you.

Step 7: Wait for the Technician

  • The app will show a “Waiting for a technician to join” message. Stay on this screen until the technician connects to help you.

This will allow the technician to see your screen but won’t be able to control it.
